Mental health liaison

Since 1988 the Division has participated directly with the Medina County mental health system which includes:

• Medina County Alcohol Drug Abuse Mental Health Board (ADAMH), dealing with mental health policy and funding issues.
• Alternative Paths Inc., dealing with Severe Emotional Disorders (SED, i.e., attempted suicide), and Severe Mental Disorders (SMD, i.e., schizophrenia). The agency provides twenty-four hour a day mental health services for a range of emotional distress and psychiatric issues.
• Ohio Guidestone
• Bellefaire JCB
• Catholic Social Services, dealing with family and domestic violence issues.

All of the agencies have offices and/or services available in Brunswick.
